• High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must pass pre-employment background check & driver’s license check.
  • Sealed system experience is a plus, but not mandatory.

  • Requires timely and quality repairs of customers’ products in the home while maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Must have experience in Gas & electric appliances that include:
    -Refrigeration (including sealed systems), cooking, OTR Microwaves, Dishwashers, Disposers, Laundry, Vent Hoods and under counter Ice Machines.
  • Provide knowledgeable and courteous repair service.
  • Must have knowledge of basic mechanical, chemical and electrical principles.

Job Title: 

Office Assistant / Customer Service Specialist


Work Hours: 

Monday through Thursday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, Friday 8:30am-4:30pm.



Commensurate with Experience ($18.50 to $24)


What you will be doing:

  • Answering incoming calls
  • Scheduling service calls & dispatching service technicians
  • We use Housecall Pro for our dispatching
  • Maintaining customers database with current information
  • Calling customers with lead time for service
  • Logging warranties and rebates
  • Preparing service invoices 
  • Working independently and as team
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Work in person at Schererville location 

Qualifications / Skills:

  • 2 + years related office experience in customer service, schedule coordinating, project coordinating or if you have 1+ year experience, meet most of the requirements, and you are highly detail oriented then we are looking for you. (Company will provide training for position)
  • A clear and professional speaking voice
  • Ability to type 40 + WPM with accuracy
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Data entry, filing, and other general office duties
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Word & Excel
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experienced with cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with clients, customers, technicians, or co-workers
  • Must be able to work independently and as a team
